In short

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Hyderabad, Telangana, to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on GCP. This role involves extensive work with Kubernetes (GKE), infrastructure automation (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, cloud networking, and Site Reliability Engineering principles, including observability and incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable, and resilient GCP cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, and platform services.
  • Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters, including scaling, upgrades, networking, ingress, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Implement automated provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, testing, and release management pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Engineer cloud networking, identity, and security controls, including VPC design, connectivity, IAM, secrets management, and secure operations.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles for SLI/SLO management, reliability optimization, and operational readiness.
  • Implement observability solutions using tools like Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry, and manage incident and problem resolution.
  • Ensure platform resilience, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Manage Istio Service Mesh for traffic management, service-to-service communication, security policies, and observability.
  • Operate and integrate the Kafka Integration Platform, understanding event-driven architectures.
  • Support Cloud Database Platforms like AlloyDB/PostgreSQL, focusing on availability, backup, and performance.
  • Build reusable platform capabilities, self-service tooling, and enforce engineering standards for developer enablement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, SRE, and supplier teams.

Requirements

  • Mandatory proficiency in GCP Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations.
  • Mandatory expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) Platform Administration & Engineering.
  • Mandatory skills in Cloud Infrastructure Automation (Terraform) & Infrastructure as Code.
  • Mandatory experience in CI/CD Engineering & Release Automation.
  • Mandatory knowledge of Cloud Networking, Identity & Security Engineering.
  • Mandatory experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) & Service Ownership.
  • Mandatory skills in Observability Engineering (Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry).
  • Mandatory experience in Incident, Problem & Operational Readiness Management.
  • Mandatory skills in Platform Resilience, Capacity Planning & Disaster Recovery.
  • Mandatory experience with Istio Service Mesh & Service Communication Architecture.
  • Mandatory understanding of Kafka Integration Platform Operations.
  • Mandatory experience with Cloud Database Platforms (AlloyDB/PostgreSQL).
  • Mandatory experience in Platform Engineering & Developer Enablement.
  • Mandatory ability in Cross-Functional Engineering & Supplier Collaboration.
  • Must be a Senior Technical Lead.
