Job Summary

Container Job Description :

As a Cloud Platform Engineer Container, you participate in design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud software / solutions related to the container area.

You will manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You should have strong customer service, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment with a focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.

Key Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of experience in public cloud and infrastructure domains

• Familiarity with containers and the microservices paradigm (Docker) is advantageous

• Mandatory expertise in Microsoft Azure: IaaS, PaaS. Additional knowledge in AWS or Google Cloud is beneficial

• Container Platforms: Azure Redhat OpenShift (ARO), Kubernetes, Docker

• DevOps: Azure DevOps

• Strong understanding of operating systems (preferably Linux RedHat) and network topologies

• Database expertise: DB2, Oracle SQL, SQL Server

• Container Security: Prisma Cloud Compute (Twistlock)

• CI/CD Tools: Argo CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins

• Version control and collaboration tools: Git, GitHub, GitOps

• Infrastructure provisioning IaC & Configuration Tools: Terraform, Helm, Ansible, ARM, BICEP. Familiarity with Ansible is a plus

• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk Observability and Enterprise, Azure Monitor, alerts, dashboards

• Ability to define and manage the configuration management database (CMDB) to ensure accurate data for key production processes and automation

• Experience identifying toil in operations and reducing it using scripts and IaC playbooks

• Competence in measuring and optimizing system capacity and performance, aiming to anticipate customer needs and innovate continuously • Experience with the Agile Safe development workflow and process or Site Reliability ways of working • Deep understanding of native application development requirements

• Aptitude for writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize as necessary

• Strong customer focus and agility as an individual

• Willingness to align operations with customer time zones • ITIL Certification preferred"

To clearly understand the client's cybersecurity environment and respective product. To monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring toolsTo analyse and validate cybersecurity incidents in-detail and help the L3 team with RCA/data or logs collectionTo enable knowledge transfer/trainings through creation/ maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals and provide operational training to L1 team.To analyse and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests & recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes.To implement changes, monitor security device performance and implements performance tuning when necessary.To prepare analyses and reports to highlight the project progress/challenges and ensure quality and accuracy to the client

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
