Responsibilities

Achieve assigned sales objectives by developing and maintaining a robust, qualified opportunity pipeline while providing accurate forecasts and business updates.
Identify, develop, and secure new customer opportunities, projects, and applications across key market segments.
Expand existing customer relationships and channel partnerships to drive sustainable business growth.
Analyze market opportunities and execute account, channel, and territory development strategies to strengthen Emerson’s market position.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with distributors, Valve OEMs, EPCs and End Users.
Collaborate with regional sales and project pursuit teams to identify, develop, and win strategic projects.
Provide technical and application support by recommending actuation solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations and product/application training sessions to promote understanding and adoption of Emerson solutions.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activities, and industry developments, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
Partner effectively with internal stakeholders across functions, sharing knowledge and best practices to achieve common goals and enhance customer success.

Requirements

Engineering Degree with 5 years of sales experience in Valve Actuation or instrumentation and control systems or related industry.
Ability to analyze complex situations, evaluate customer requirements, identify technical solutions, and communicate a clear plan of action to stakeholders.
Experience applying solution-based and value-driven selling approaches to create customer value and support business growth.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
Willing and able to travel within South East Asia as required.

Desired Qualifications

Experience supporting customers in industries such as oil and gas, chemical, power, energy, manufacturing, or related process industries.
Self-motivated, proactive and driven, with strong ownership and accountability.
Balanced Hunter & Farmer mindset: creates new opportunities and develops long-term customer relationships.
Additional language capabilities that support communication with customers across Southeast Asia.
