As a Senior Research Scientist in RBS Tech, you will design and deploy scalable GenAI, NLP, and Computer Vision solutions to improve customer experience and automate operations. You will develop novel deep learning and statistical techniques, define research strategies, and mentor colleagues, impacting product strategy and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable GenAI, NLP, and Computer Vision solutions.
Develop novel LLM, deep learning, and statistical techniques for task automation, text processing, image processing, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection.
Define research and experiments strategy with an iterative execution approach.
Partner with business and engineering teams to identify and solve complex problems requiring scientific innovation.
Coach and mentor team members on AI/ML expertise and engineering practices.
Contribute to filing for patents and/or publishing research work.
Impact large product strategy, identify new business opportunities, and provide strategic direction.

Requirements

3+ years of investigating the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to business problems and products experience.
PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years of quantitative field research experience.
Experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive etc.
Experience communicating qualitative research methods and findings to non-qualitative researchers.

Experience converting research studies into tangible real-world changes.
Experience with discrete and continuous optimization methodologies and algorithms.
