Responsibilities
- Design, build, evaluate, and ship LLM-based solutions for adaptive listening experiences.
- Work on prompted playlist experiences focused on music fulfillment and session generation.
- Collaborate with user research, design, data science, product, and engineering teams.
- Prototype new ML approaches and deploy them at global scale.
- Build and improve systems connecting artists and fans.
- Contribute to scalable ML systems serving hundreds of millions of users.
- Promote best practices in ML system design, testing, evaluation, and deployment.
- Contribute to the machine learning practitioner community at Spotify.
Requirements
- Experienced in machine learning and solving complex real-world problems.
- Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
- Comfortable applying theory to build real-world, production-ready applications.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end ML systems at scale.
- Familiarity with LLM-based systems and techniques like reinforcement fine-tuning or DPO.
- Experience designing modular ML architectures and writing technical specifications.
- Experienced with large-scale distributed data processing tools (Apache Beam, Apache Spark).
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
