Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership on crisis management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Act as an employee advocate, developing strategies to improve engagement and create a positive workplace.
  • Identify and engage with local communities to represent the Microsoft brand and values.
  • Partner with leadership teams to enable a One Microsoft approach and coach leaders.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of HR services and participate in HR governance.
  • Execute or lead HR projects and initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team environment.
  • Embody Microsoft's culture and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Legal, Business, Psychology, or related field AND 7+ years of HR or related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Professional fluency in English & Spanish is required.
  • 5+ years of broad HR experience.

  • Overall capabilities and skills: change management, consulting, conflict resolution, creativity, corporate culture enhancement, data analysis, judgment, stakeholder management, negotiation, written and oral communication, and ability to simplify complex topics into clear recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to coach leaders or people managers.
  • Drive decisions across complex HR topics.
  • Learning agility, resourcefulness, drive for results, and a proactive mindset.
  • Knowledge of Mexico employment law, labor regulations, statutory requirements, HR governance, and local compliance practices.
  • Experience supporting workforce growth or transformation across scaling business environments.
