Qualcomm seeks an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team in Grenoble, France. This role focuses on the architecture, micro-architecture, and RTL design of next-generation SoCs and compute platforms, requiring strong technical leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Define SoC and subsystem architectures and micro-architectures.
Develop and integrate CPUs, accelerators, memory, and interconnect solutions.
Write and maintain high-quality RTL.
Collaborate with architecture, verification, physical design, and software teams.
Drive design convergence from architecture to silicon.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD and 4+ years of relevant experience.
8+ years of experience in SoC architecture and digital design.
Strong understanding of SoC architectures, memory subsystems, and Network-on-Chip (NoC) concepts.
Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC-V based systems.
Familiarity with cache coherency, virtualization, MMU/SMMU, and memory architectures.
Understanding of accelerators and high-performance computing systems.
Experience with industry-standard interfaces such as AXI, CHI, DDR, PCIe, and Ethernet.
Hands-on experience with RTL development.
Good knowledge of front-end design flows including synthesis, lint, CDC, DFT, and formal verification.
Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
