The Modernization Architect leads the definition of modernization strategies, target-state architectures, and transformation roadmaps. This role is responsible for translating assessment findings into actionable modernization recommendations and guiding the technical approach for POV execution, requiring 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze assessment findings and define modernization strategies, treatment options, and transformation pathways.
Design target-state architectures and modernization patterns for the selected POV scope.
Define source-to-target mappings, integration approaches, and migration strategies.
Review ATLAS-generated outputs, code, and architectural artifacts to ensure quality and alignment with enterprise standards.
Develop implementation estimates, sequencing recommendations, and modernization roadmaps.
Provide architectural guidance during POV execution and support solution validation.
Present recommendations and technical roadmaps to business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

10+ years of application architecture and modernization experience.
Expertise in legacy modernization, cloud migration, API enablement, and platform transformation.
Experience defining target-state architectures, migration strategies, and transformation roadmaps.
Strong understanding of enterprise application architectures, integration patterns, and cloud-native design principles.
Experience supporting modernization assessments, proof-of-concepts, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
