Responsibilities
- Design new parts according to product specifications, focusing on manufacturability and cost.
- Optimize existing product components, subgroups, and modules.
- Drive global implementation of new and technically efficient solutions.
- Develop new technical solutions, concepts, and innovations.
- Release technical documentation on global mechanical components within the PLM-System.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with all functions to enhance global target delivery.
- Ensure respect for cultural diversity and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of 3D design tools (Catia & NX preferred).
- Strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and assembly principles for metal sheet, plastic, cast & molded materials.
- Aptitude for details.
- Use of robust design tools (FMEA, Tolerance Chain Analysis).
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of home appliance products or similar.
- Track record of experience in consumer goods product development, especially in a global-matrix organization and international environment.
- English language proficiency is mandatory.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hoods development is very appreciated.
- Simulation competencies are appreciated.
