Emerson is seeking a Senior Application Developer with expertise in Salesforce and Oracle Database for a hybrid role in Mandaluyong, Philippines. The developer will design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade CRM solutions, including integrations between Salesforce and Oracle DB, and support various workflows like Case Management and Code Redemption. The role involves applying SDLC principles, collaborating with teams, and participating in Agile/CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce applications (Visualforce, Apex, Flows, SOQL) for client entitlement, Code Redemption, Knowledge Article management, and Case Management.
  • Develop and maintain REST API integrations between Salesforce and Oracle Database backends.
  • Write optimized SOQL and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL queries for reporting, data migration, and integration.
  • Design and implement Knowledge Article structures and Case Management configurations.
  • Apply SDLC for high-quality solution delivery, from analysis to production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across Salesforce and Oracle DB layers.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, and QA to translate business requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (data models, integration maps, configuration guides).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD delivery practices using Azure DevOps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience with proven hands-on delivery on the Salesforce platform.
  • Proficiency in Visualforce page development, Apex (classes, triggers, batch), declarative Flows, and SOQL.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL basics, including queries, stored procedures, and data integration patterns connecting Oracle DB to Salesforce or REST API layers.
  • Experience consuming and producing REST APIs, along with JavaScript for front-end logic within Salesforce pages and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience configuring or developing Salesforce Service Cloud features (Case Management, Knowledge Article, entitlement, self-service portal).
  • Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD practices, Azure DevOps or similar pipelines, sprint-based delivery and version control.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and maintaining LWC-based user interfaces alongside Visualforce pages.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, or Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud (Communities), or Sales Cloud entitlement and contract management modules.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data migration tools (Data Loader, DX CLI, MuleSoft connectors) and sandbox management practices.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle DB integration patterns connecting Salesforce through middleware or direct API.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD deployment of Salesforce metadata packages.
  • Experience working in international, cross-time zone Agile delivery teams.
