Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine design requirements.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations using CAD software and 3D modeling.
- Mentor and train junior designers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software design.
- Work with Quality Assurance teams to establish design quality metrics.
Requirements
- Proficient in Product Design principles and techniques.
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Experience with design software such as Creo, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Optional but valuable certifications include Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) or similar design-related certifications.
- Experience in Semiconductor products is good to have.
- Knowledge in Engineering Change Order Process.
- BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge.
- Good Understanding in manufacturing process and welding.
- Experience with special purpose machines.
- Clearly marking changes on drawings using revision.
- Updating the change log to reflect modifications made.
- Ensuring that all linked models and assemblies are updated accordingly.
- Submitting updated drawings for review and approval by relevant stakeholders through Engineering change management.
