Responsibilities

Work with the mechanical design of components and solutions in plastics, sheet metal and tubular structures for wheel loaders and articulated haulers.
Contribute to product development and improvement work in collaboration with colleagues and other functions.
Take responsibility for the quality of the team’s deliveries.
Work closely with Product Design to bring new design languages to machines.
Take the lead on design-related topics and act as a point of contact for other departments.
Drive collaboration, coordinate discussions, and work across functions to ensure successful team deliverables.
Focus work on exterior components for wheel loaders and articulated haulers.

Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
Experience from leading teams
Experience in mechanical design
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Experience with Creo or another 3D modelling tool

Construction equipment or heavy vehicles
Design of sheet metal, plastics or tubular components
FEM calculations
Lean and Agile ways of working
Experience from a senior position
