Amazon Business is looking for a Senior Data Scientist in Hyderabad to turn complex data into actionable insights and shape the experience for millions of sellers. You will lead the design and delivery of data science solutions using advanced analytical and machine learning techniques to drive measurable business outcomes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of data science solutions.
Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and quantitative analysis.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate data science strategies and methodologies.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.
Identify gaps in existing metrics and propose new approaches.
Drive data science best practices across the team.
Mentor other data scientists and review their analyses and models.

Requirements

5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience.
4+ years of data scientist experience.
Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression.

Desired Qualifications

2+ years of data visualization using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc. experience.
Experience managing data pipelines.
Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team.
