The IN Private Brands team is looking for a customer-obsessed Senior Category Manager to help drive one of the most exciting growth engines for Private Brands at Amazon.in - this category is set to grow to Consumables Private Brand's largest category in this year. In this role, you will lead a category and it's end to end (P&L) - owning the lead to launch cycle for new products/brands along with driving inputs to achieve the desired scale for the category on both Topline and Bottomline.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about growing business profitably, launching products, have strong product development, vendor identification, sourcing and cost negotiation skills. S/he should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from launching new products/brands to enabling growth of existing portfolio. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of with Excel experience
- 7+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
