Responsibilities
- Drive sales for Screening capital equipment, meeting profitability and sales targets.
- Develop existing customers and seek new ones for Rock Processing.
- Execute sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals.
- Identify new opportunities and develop existing markets for Screening capital equipment.
- Maintain CRM with valid cases and customer visit reports.
- Submit accurate and comprehensive Screening equipment tenders.
- Present on Sandvik Screening portfolio and strategic advantages.
- Collaborate with Engineering Houses (EPC/EPCM) on applications, engineering, and tenders.
- Provide engineering support, including 2D & 3D STEP modeling, for brownfield applications.
- Understand customer businesses, including revenue, geography, installed fleet, and decision-makers.
- Provide input into strategic plans for revenue expansion.
- Work with other sales engineers, internal sales, field service, and support staff to grow market share.
- Investigate competitor activities and conduct market research.
- Promote and develop new products to existing and new customer bases.
- Lead and manage capital equipment sales opportunities from technical solution to order execution.
- Support and drive the sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and timely closing.
- Prepare and review Equipment sizing, proposals, costings, and commercial offers.
- Support pricing strategies aligned with margin targets.
- Act as the primary point of coordination for day-to-day capital sales activities.
- Manage customer queries proactively.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers.
- Support the BLM in strategic customer engagements with follow-ups and site-level coordination.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical qualification.
- 5-10 years of extensive sales experience.
- Proficient knowledge in screening capital products.
- Proactive mindset.
- Excellent listening and logic interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility and self-reliance.
- Self-starter mentality.
- Excellent time management and deadline-driven approach.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Strong understanding and compliance with Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Ability to function independently and responsibly without direct supervision.
- Follow-through ability to complete tasks and achieve outcomes.
- Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
