This role is responsible for translating business requirements into software solutions, developing integrated business and enterprise application solutions, and providing consultation for new and existing software. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining data integration workflows with Informatica IICS/IDMC, building ETL/ELT pipelines into Databricks Lakehouse, and proficiency in Linux/Python scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions.
  • Contribute to and leverage the technical direction for the development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions.
  • Provide consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using Informatica IICS/IDMC (Cloud Data Integration (Azure), Cloud Application Integration, etc.).
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data into Databricks Lakehouse.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data quality using Informatica tools.
  • Configure and manage connections between Informatica IICS/IDMC and Databricks, including secure authentication and data movement strategies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Automate data workflows and orchestrate jobs using Informatica’s scheduling and event-driven capabilities.
  • Document technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Adopt various data formats and data sizes.
  • Leverage DevOps, Waterfall and Agile practices to design, develop and deliver resilient, secure, multichannel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/off-premise, cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide insight into recommendations for technical solutions that meet design and functional needs.
  • Translate business requirements and functional specifications into physical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.
  • Assist in identification of specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures, and functions, as required, to support technical solutions.
  • Lead systems incident support and troubleshooting for complex and non-complex issues.
  • Support component integration testing (CIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for application initiatives by providing triage, attending test team meetings, keeping the QC up-to-date, performing fixes and unit testing, providing insight to testing teams to ensure appropriate depth of test coverage, and supporting the development of proper documentation.
  • Complete work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines.
  • Follow procedures and policies, and apply data and resources to support projects or initiatives.
  • Collaborate with others, often cross-functionally, to solve business problems.
  • Support the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Communicate progress and information.

Requirements

  • 3 years of Experience in Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using Informatica IICS/IDMC (Cloud Data Integration (Azure), Cloud Application Integration, etc.).
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data into Databricks Lakehouse.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Python scripting.
  • Experience with Peta byte scale data ingestion, data migration.
  • Ability to adopt various type of data formats and data sizes.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).
  • Minimum one (1) year in a technical lead role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
  • Minimum six (6) years experience in software development or a related field.
  • Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
