Amazon.in seeks a seasoned insight professional for its Marketing & Customer Lifecycle team in Bangalore, India. This role will develop research-led consumer insights to guide marketing and growth strategy, requiring expertise in consumer research, analytics, and communication to represent the Voice of the customer.
Responsibilities
- Drive a prioritized roadmap of research programs (Qualitative & Quantitative) for the team in India.
- Collaborate with cross-functional research/category marketing/product teams to surface customer insights and gaps.
- Own end-to-end delivery in the execution of research programs and roadmap goals.
- Dive deep into the cultural fabric of India to unearth insights for crafting brand communication.
- Work closely with new initiatives’ teams to get customer facing inputs and validations.
- Demonstrate thinking & design in areas of brand equity, consumer segmentation, and opportunity sizing.
- Design and execute large scale internal customer tracking programs to measure impact.
- Own, manage and develop strategic relationships with external research agencies.
Requirements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- 5+ years of supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams.
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
