SAP Finance Lead consultant responsible for leading the design, configuration, and support of the SAP Finance module. This role requires an in-depth understanding of complex business processes related to General Ledger and Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting. Must have an MBA in Finance or CA with SAP Finance certification and 6-8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Technical SME and focal point of contact for SAP Finance related business process matters, including system upgrades, defect resolution, and implementation projects.
  • Work on Complex RICEF objects and preparation of Functional specifications.
  • Be well versed with Document Splitting, Foreign Currency Valuation / Translation / Balance Carry Forward process / Functional currency.
  • Perform reconciliations using Microsoft Excel.
  • Conduct Testing - Dress Rehearsal / Performance Testing / Support UAT.
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to collect and analyze complex business requirements.
  • Design and document SAP Finance solutions, including system configuration and customization, to address client requirements.
  • Set up and manage configuration elements.
  • Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP Finance modules, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Execute break/fix problem resolution and preventive maintenance.
  • Manage ServiceNow tickets for incidents and requests, including prioritization, root cause analysis, and escalation as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum MBA in Finance (Full Time) or C.A.
  • SAP Finance Certification
  • 6 to 8 Years of experience
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO module
  • In-depth understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting
  • Experience with Complex RICEF objects and Functional specifications
  • Knowledge of Document Splitting, Foreign Currency Valuation/Translation/Balance Carry Forward
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticket management

Desired Qualifications

  • Nice to have knowledge in Special Purpose Ledger, Business Area, Currency Translation in SPL / SPL reconciliations.
