ABB seeks a Sales Specialist to drive sales of automation solutions, including PLC and VFD, in central Jiangsu, China. The role involves deepening existing customer relationships, identifying new project opportunities in key industries, and developing channel partners. Responsibilities

  • Deepen penetration of existing project customers in central Jiangsu (Wuxi, Jiangyin, Changzhou, Taizhou & Nantong) and increase MODP product share.
  • Identify and develop new project customers in central Jiangsu, focusing on industries like Data center, 3C semiconductors, New material, Marine, Crane, Chemical, and Paper & Pulp.
  • Conduct industry-specific market analysis.
  • Develop new channel partners to expand project coverage in underserved areas.
  • Collaborate with existing local channel partners to deliver comprehensive sales and technical support.
  • Promote integrated automation solutions, combining PLC and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in industrial automation, LV drives, or project-related business.
  • Solid knowledge of LV VFD, PLC, and Servo products and their applications in project industries.
  • Strong local market knowledge of central Jiangsu project industries and customer landscape.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the central Jiangsu region.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of sales experience in industrial automation, low voltage frequency converters, or project-related business.
