Responsibilities
- Call on Facility Managers, Security Directors, IT Directors, and Construction and Planning Departments within end-user accounts.
- Partner with local selling partners including wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors.
- Maximize positive impact with end-user accounts.
- Build relationships and provide technical solutions within the commercial construction, multi-family, and property management market segments.
- Gain approval for product lines represented by Door Security Solutions.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers.
- Develop short and long-term sales plans.
- Identify and classify the sales potential of each client.
- Establish a network of clients with a high level of trust.
- Sell opening solutions using an effective communication approach for diverse audiences.
- Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions.
- Travel up to 80% within the territory.
- Perform responsibilities in a home office environment or while traveling.
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.

Desired Qualifications
- College/University degree preferred (specialization in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar), or work experience commensurate with minimum high school/GED diploma.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of industry-related experience with openings as a commercial locksmith, door frames/hardware installer, contractor’s license for installation, or CHD project manager with school, healthcare, or institutional facilities.
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
