We are looking for a Part-Time Sales Assistant for IKEA Exeter to provide excellent customer service and product advice. Responsibilities
- Provide an inspirational shopping experience for customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
- Be motivated by the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
- Support sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock safely.
Requirements
- Experience in a fast‑moving, customer‑facing environment would be a great advantage.
- Confident using computers and digital tools, with the ability to pick up new IKEA systems and processes with ease.
- You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
- You take initiative, make well-informed choices, and engage with your daily tasks.
- Prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
- Ready to safely lift, condense, and replenish stock so that we are always customer ready.
