Amazon's Transport Controllership Audit team is seeking a Risk Specialist I in Hyderabad to manage and control transportation costs. Responsibilities include executing risk assessments, developing policies for freight cost estimation and invoice accuracy, identifying technology gaps, and communicating results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Act as a single-threaded owner for the execution and delivery of risk management (financial, regulatory, policy, business continuity).
Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs for accurate freight cost estimation and invoice accuracy.
Identify technology gaps and collaborate with tech teams on solutions.
Conduct effective communication of results and updates to stakeholders.
Drive broader risk mitigation activities by working with other teams such as Internal Audit and Risk.

Requirements

Experience in risk management and internal audit, including performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk.
Experience in internal audit and risk management or equivalent.
Experience in handling internal & external audits.
1+ years of fraud audits/risk investigations experience.
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.
2+ years of relevant experience in relevant risk management areas such as internal / external invoice audit and investigation.
Experience in working with teams across different global locations with high ownership and delivering results independently.
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and basic SQL.
Experience defining audit logic requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management.

Desired Qualifications

Experience leading process improvements.
1+ years of driving process improvements experience.
Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers.
Knowledge as end user of EDI, financial systems and overall flow of invoice lifecycle.
