Responsibilities
- Act as a single-threaded owner responsible for the execution and delivery of straightforward risk management (financial, regulatory, Amazon policy, business continuity).
- Analyze, recommend, develop, and implement solutions and programs to drive automation and data governance.
- Perform deep dives, document findings, and share reports with leadership.
- Identify technology gaps and collaborate with tech teams on solutions.
- Effectively communicate results and updates to stakeholders.
- Drive broader risk mitigation activities by working with teams like Internal Audit, Tech, FinOps, and Engineering.
- Drive AI native solutions to improve process efficiency.
Requirements
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
- Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives.
- Experience in program requirements definition, using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- 4+ years of experience with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in SQL Server/MySQL and managing stacks through custom applications.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing.
- Experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable, or experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
- Experience in any of the following: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell or equivalent.
- PMP certificate, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or a related field.
