Responsibilities
- Provide support and challenge to the business on current and emerging market risks.
- Perform comprehensive risk management analysis and deep dives to support decision making.
- Support oversight activities to continuously improve and ensure a strong risk culture and risk management framework.
- Contribute to risk assessment across ongoing projects and activities.
- Assess new business initiatives.
Requirements
- Familiarity with core market risk principles.
- Good understanding of financial instruments and their inherent risks, ideally from a fixed income perspective.
- Good understanding of financial regulation.
- Diligent and analytical mindset.
- Ability to communicate and document complex problems clearly and concisely.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach with the ability to independently drive things forward.
- Strong team player with experience in a diverse and international working environment.
- High integrity.
- Degree in finance, economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in banking, financial markets, or similar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with supervisory interaction would be beneficial.
