Tetra Pak is seeking a Resource Planner in Budaors, Hungary, to ensure optimal allocation of field resources for service interventions, projects, and deployments. This role involves analyzing capacity, managing planning systems, and coordinating competence development to achieve service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule field activities using FSM and planning tools.
  • Assign engineers based on skills, availability, and priorities.
  • Balance short- and mid-term demand against capacity.
  • Analyze workforce capacity, skills, and utilization trends.
  • Identify and recommend mitigation plans for capacity gaps and constraints.
  • Coordinate and manage planning exceptions through Flex Zone escalation processes.
  • Plan internal training based on competence development plans.
  • Coordinate stakeholders for timely planning and implementation of mandatory solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a mechanical/electrical/automation engineer in the food industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of service operations, workforce planning, and capacity management.
  • Experience with planning and scheduling systems (FSM, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience within field service organizations.
  • Knowledge of Tetra Pak equipment, service products, and customer operations.
  • Experience working with outsourcing models and cross-regional resource planning.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and automation initiatives.
