Responsibilities
- Advance research in generative modeling, including fundamental algorithmic innovation and design of next-generation techniques.
- Collaborate with fellow doctoral candidates and researchers on exciting research and development strides.

- Be paired with a mentor for guidance throughout the internship.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Must be physically located in the manager's Microsoft worksite location for the duration of the internship.
- Submit a minimum of two reference letters, a cover letter, and relevant work or research samples.
Desired Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Publications at top theoretical CS or ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.) or top journals.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience with training large foundation models such as diffusion models, image auto-regressive models, and large language models.
Benefits
- USD $5,690 - $11,210 per month (or $7,410 - $12,250 in SF Bay Area/NYC metro)
- USD $6,810 - $13,480 per month (or $8,920 - $14,610 in SF Bay Area/NYC metro)
