In short

As a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer in Thane, Maharashtra, you will oversee facility and administrative activities, perform daily/weekly/monthly technical checks, and troubleshoot automation systems including conveyors, PLC, SCADA, and HMI. You will also manage electrical power distribution, DG maintenance, and coordinate with vendors for warranty services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks per PPM schedule.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors involving automation (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, sensors, control cabinets).
  • Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair works.
  • Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty/AMC.
  • Perform DG maintenance.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
  • Support production in a safe, customer-focused manner.
  • Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade work for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular checks on Fire Alarm & Fire extinguishers.
  • Maintain, oil, and grease carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
  • Attend to regular Electrical works.
  • Issue height work and hot work permits.
  • Handle minor Civil & Plumbing Corrective maintenance calls.
  • Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and RCA.
  • Oversee soft services activities like Pest control, Housekeeping, Scrap & Garbage disposal, and manage agency staff.

Requirements

  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls.
  • 1+ years of experience in conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance.
