Responsibilities
- Optimize the flow of value across development and operation value streams.
- Frame product vision, roadmaps, and assist in backlog management.
- Coordinate SAFe event preparation and execution across teams and functions.
- Facilitate ART level events and release planning.
- Mentor and coach Lean Agile concepts at any level, including Senior Management.
- Facilitate both on-site and remote working sessions effectively.
- Set organizational standards and provide problem-solving guidance.
- Identify big issues and opportunities for improving solution and service delivery.
- Coach stakeholders to improve product strategy definition, prioritization, measurement, and execution.
- Apply coaching, mentoring, and teaching techniques at all organizational levels.
- Organize and facilitate all ART Events, both in-person and remote.
- Teach and coach project teams to effectively use agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
- Continuously improve project management practices and grow agile maturity.
- Teach and coach effective design for risk methodologies.
- Assess process automation tools and identify areas for improvement.
- Align measurement systems, metrics, strategic goals, and customer experience.
- Reinforce adoption of the Product Innovation Process and initiate improvements.
- Improve governance processes and visual controls.
- Facilitate internal audits and assessments.
Requirements
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in engineering, product development, program management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5+ years serving as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, or equivalent enterprise Agile leadership role.
- Experience in developing effective training materials and approaches.
- Experience in process automation tools.
- Experience in facilitation and coaching of cross-functional teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated application of lean principles and the scientific method to problem-solving.
- Proven track record of delivering tangible cost savings and/or process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understands tradeoffs between technical, analytical, and product needs.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards.
- Ability to create and deliver clear and informative presentations to a wide audience.
- Ability to connect with people at all levels to influence, gain trust, and facilitate change.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with Project Management tools (e.g., Oracle Agile PLM, Confluence, Jira).
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with agile project management (SCRUM, SAFe, or like).
- Ability to teach and coach others on the application of Lean and Agile principles.
- Strong familiarity with common tools for project management such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Experience in framing product vision, roadmaps, and backlog management.
- Experience in facilitating ART level events and release planning.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and constructively challenging stakeholders.
- Experience in teaching and coaching project teams on agile frameworks.
