Responsibilities

  • Implement strategy with objectives for direct customers and distributors.
  • Drive and execute the business plan to meet financial targets.
  • Monitor and control the reporting of sales opportunities and progress.
  • Drive the implementation of Sales and technical monitoring of distributors.
  • Check and share contract content and legal aspects with the pricing department.
  • Manage sales, communicate achievements, and build action plans.
  • Ensure targets and objectives are clearly defined for Technical Engineers and Application Specialists.
  • Monitor the deployment of strategy through an annual sales plan.
  • Manage tariff increases and profitability for the area.
  • Establish and monitor the sales plan with the Distribution Manager of China.
  • Identify potential partnerships with new distributors.
  • Prepare and facilitate launch sales meetings.
  • Evaluate and analyze distributors and establish action plans.
  • Follow up on sales in the region (Revenue/Products/Segments/services).
  • Track opportunities with a sales forecast.
  • Enforce budgets for Fees/Operation/Trials/Free items.
  • Manage the follow-up of CRM parameters (customer classification, potential, visits, opportunities, contacts).
  • Comply with the Sandvik Group's distribution charter and compliance.
  • Present sales, product, and opportunity results to the Market Sales Manager.
  • Analyze KPIs to verify objective achievement.
  • Supervise and coordinate the team based on performance measurement.
  • Ensure the application of procedures and rules, particularly compliance.
  • Foster an environment that promotes initiative, creativity, and innovation.
  • Manage continuous improvement plans and monitor skill development.
  • Communicate objectives, results, and company information to the team.
  • Escalate information to the right stakeholders.
  • Alert on identified risks and problems.
  • Participate in the definition of the regional Sales Strategy.
  • Keep KPIs and performance indicators for the regional team up-to-date.
  • Apply rules of procedure and Sandvik Code of Conduct.
  • Comply with policies on anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, competition laws, gifts, and data protection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of experience in the machining, tooling, or production engineering industry.
  • Proven sales management experience with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake frequent business travel across the assigned region.
