The ABB R&D Early Career Program is a two-year rotational program designed to develop technical problem-solving skills and leadership through advanced engineering courses and technical projects. Participants will rotate across R&D teams within the Electrification business area, gaining hands-on experience with innovative technologies and advancing ABB’s research objectives.

Responsibilities

Complete a rotational program within ABB's Electrification business, focusing on R&D and related functions.
Contribute to R&D by developing and testing new engineering solutions using innovative technologies.
Participate in formal training to develop technical, functional, professional, and leadership skills.
Deliver assigned tasks and projects within the assignment period.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree engineering program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
Enjoy solving technical problems and developing products and solutions.
Desire to learn and grow from diverse experiences and people.
Foster a growth mindset.
Excited to explore living/working in different parts of the US.
Communicate effectively in English.
Valid US work authorization; no future sponsorship required.

Desired Qualifications

Exposure to continuous improvement, R&D, new product development, and manufacturing support.
