Responsibilities
- Perform accurate layout, dimensional measurements, and visual assessments using micrometers, calipers, and specialized gauges.
- Partner with suppliers by conducting detailed quality audits and inspections, providing actionable feedback and detailed reporting.
- Support production teams by addressing inspection-related issues promptly and offering technical guidance.
- Document and track quality nonconformance using standardized corrective action system.
- Lead root cause analyses and participate in failure investigations.
- Conduct comprehensive process and safety audits across various assembly lines.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of ISO-certified quality management system procedures.
- Manage calibration, certification, and maintenance of precision metrology instruments.
- Support the Energy Management System (EnMS) team in achieving energy reduction goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on projects, demonstrating adaptability and contributing to team-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in interpreting detailed blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Practical experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges, and thread pitch gauges is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with strong reliability, organization, and proactive communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Capability to perform occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and safely operate forklifts when required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) alongside familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) software platforms.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards is key.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2015 standards will be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of compressed air technology, mechanical design fundamentals, and manufacturing processes.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Ability to confidently enforce quality standards while maintaining a collaborative approach.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 50001:2015 (Energy Management) standards will be advantageous.
