HCLTech is seeking a motivated Azure Cloud Engineer (DevOps) in Hyderabad, India, to design, implement, and automate cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities include managing Azure infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, deploying containerized applications with Docker and AKS, and ensuring cloud security and availability.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Implement cloud security best practices, including identity management, RBAC, Key Vault, and network security controls.
Support cloud migration, modernization, and deployment activities for enterprise applications.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or Python.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production issues across Azure services.
Collaborate with architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, and costs through continuous monitoring and governance.
Prepare technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Requirements

Experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent DevOps tools.
Experience in deploying, configuring, and managing containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Experience in monitoring cloud infrastructure, applications, and services using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Experience in implementing cloud security best practices, including identity management, RBAC, Key Vault, and network security controls.
Knowledge of Azure networking components such as VNets, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, and VPNs.
Experience with automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or Python.
Proficiency in Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure SQL Database, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, and Azure API Management.
Experience with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus Repository.

Desired Qualifications

Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials while mentoring junior team members.
Support compliance requirements and security audits.
Conduct vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
Perform root cause analysis and incident remediation.
Support change, release, and problem management processes.
