Accenture is seeking a Program & Project Management Associate Manager in Newcastle to lead large-scale projects and workstreams. This full-time, mid-level role requires experience in project management tools, financial management, and stakeholder engagement, with a willingness to undergo security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of projects and workstreams within large-scale, high-complexity programmes.
  • Create, manage and control project plans using standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Confluence), tracking progress and managing delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Use data and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) to provide project insights and support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client stakeholders.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to manage project status, dependencies, risks, issues and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Financial Management teams to ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and commercial targets.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day project management activities, including scope, schedule, resource, risk, issue and change management, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, governance and quality management activities to enhance project performance and delivery excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager delivering technology and/or business change projects.
  • Experience using project reporting and analytics tools, e.g. Power BI.
  • Experience managing project finances, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery to successful outcomes.
  • Willingness to go through a Security Clearance process, requiring 5+ years UK address history.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in Project Management, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile methodologies or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project / Project Server
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint / Teams
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data analytics tools
  • Experience with Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and delivering projects within controlled governance frameworks.
