Accenture is seeking a Program & Project Management Associate Manager in Newcastle to lead large-scale projects and workstreams. Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of projects and workstreams within large-scale, high-complexity programmes.
- Create, manage and control project plans using standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Confluence), tracking progress and managing delivery against agreed milestones.
- Use data and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) to provide project insights and support decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client stakeholders.
- Work closely with delivery teams to manage project status, dependencies, risks, issues and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Financial Management teams to ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and commercial targets.
- Take responsibility for day-to-day project management activities, including scope, schedule, resource, risk, issue and change management, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement, governance and quality management activities to enhance project performance and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager delivering technology and/or business change projects.
- Experience using project reporting and analytics tools, e.g. Power BI.
- Experience managing project finances, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery to successful outcomes.
- Willingness to go through a Security Clearance process, requiring 5+ years UK address history.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Project Management, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile methodologies or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Project / Project Server
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint / Teams
- Experience with Power BI or similar data analytics tools
- Experience with Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and delivering projects within controlled governance frameworks.
