Responsibilities
- Supply or hold materials or tools.
- Clean work area and equipment.
- Operate machinery or assist machine operators.
- Record inspected products.
- Load and unload materials.
- Count and determine completion of orders.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Observe equipment operations and detect malfunctions.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
- Mark or tag identification on parts.
- Clean and lubricate equipment.
- Record information such as number of products inspected and dates/times of production.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.
- Mechanical ability.
- Ability to read various dimensional measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and power tools such as saws.
- Experience with forklifts, hammers, hoists, jacks, ladders, screwdrivers, and material-hoisting slings.
