Emerson is looking for a Production Planner in Singapore to create and manage production schedules, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree/diploma, 2-3 years of experience in production planning, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain master production schedules.
Prepare and manage Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs, monthly production plans, and weekly production schedules.
Monitor production plan execution and implement solutions for disruptions.
Analyze backlog, demand, and forecasts to prioritize production.
Track production progress and ensure quality standards are met.
Evaluate and adjust plans for schedule changes or delays.
Plan and prioritize manufacturing operations for efficiency and reduced lead times.
Determine manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, customer care, logistics, and engineering.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate planning data and performance metrics.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in a related field.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience.
Practical experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of production planning concepts, capacity planning, and material requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, prioritize work, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications

Experience using Oracle or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
Exposure to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Ability to use data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
Experience supporting multiple product families or complex manufacturing operations.
