The Production Monitor will work closely with the Team Leader to oversee production line operations, ensuring quality standards and timely completion of tasks. This role involves training new employees, supporting process improvements, and monitoring adherence to standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Team Leader on Layered Process Audits (LPA) at the production team level.
- Ensure equipment inspections before shifts and 5S inspections before the end of each shift.
- Coordinate daily production activities, adhering to assembly quality standards and meeting production targets.
- Train new employees on job skills and assembly processes.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify operational and safety risks.
- Contribute to production output, identify line-balancing or cycle-time issues, and provide targeted training.
- Support the Quality team in analyzing quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Serve as a backup for the Team Leader.
Requirements
- Technical secondary school diploma or above, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vacuum pump assembly or testing, or 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with assembly processes, tools, and fixtures.
- Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Strong organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good awareness of quality, safety, occupational health, environmental protection, and energy-saving practices.
- Strong sense of responsibility, proactive working attitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong learning agility and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Commitment to complying with company policies and procedures.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Multi-skilled operators with experience across two or more assembly lines are preferred.
