Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing operations across machining, assembly, testing, planning, order management, and facilities.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategy to support growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the ramp-up of facility expansion and machining operations, enhancing capabilities and insourcing initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering to develop scalable manufacturing solutions.
  • Drive execution through standardized processes, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead production planning, scheduling, and order-to-shipment execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive corrective actions.
  • Advance Lean manufacturing practices through root-cause analysis, standard work, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, engineers, planners, team leads, and operations personnel.
  • Build a high-performing organization through employee engagement and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources with customer and business needs.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of manufacturing operations leadership in a precision or engineered-to-order environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven leadership of CNC machining operations (turning, milling, and mill-turn processes).
  • Experience leading manufacturing engineering, planning/scheduling, and facilities functions.
  • Demonstrated success improving safety, delivery, productivity, quality, and cost performance.
  • Strong Lean manufacturing expertise (5S, Kaizen, standard work, root-cause analysis).
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety compliance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in rotating machinery, capital equipment, or complex manufacturing environments is preferred.
