Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing operations across machining, assembly, testing, planning, order management, and facilities.
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategy to support growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the ramp-up of facility expansion and machining operations, enhancing capabilities and insourcing initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering to develop scalable manufacturing solutions.
- Drive execution through standardized processes, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Lead production planning, scheduling, and order-to-shipment execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive corrective actions.
- Advance Lean manufacturing practices through root-cause analysis, standard work, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, engineers, planners, team leads, and operations personnel.
- Build a high-performing organization through employee engagement and succession planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources with customer and business needs.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of manufacturing operations leadership in a precision or engineered-to-order environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven leadership of CNC machining operations (turning, milling, and mill-turn processes).
- Experience leading manufacturing engineering, planning/scheduling, and facilities functions.
- Demonstrated success improving safety, delivery, productivity, quality, and cost performance.
- Strong Lean manufacturing expertise (5S, Kaizen, standard work, root-cause analysis).
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety compliance.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in rotating machinery, capital equipment, or complex manufacturing environments is preferred.
