Autoliv is looking for a Process Engineer to develop and sustain safe, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. This role supports production, drives continuous improvement, and requires hands-on shop floor experience and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production.
- Support day-to-day production.
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure successful execution of new product launches.
- Provide hands-on technical problem solving.
- Engage with production on the shop floor.
- Commit to Autoliv’s safety-first culture.
- Support off-shift production issues as needed.
- Work occasional extended hours during launches or critical issues.
- Travel limited for training or equipment support if required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2–5+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Experience supporting high-volume production environments.
- Hands-on shop floor experience troubleshooting processes.
- Exposure to Root cause problem solving (8D, 5 Why).
- Exposure to SPC and process capability analysis.
- Exposure to Lean / continuous improvement initiatives.
- Willingness to work in a production environment (shop floor presence required).
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- APQP / PPAP exposure preferred.
- Experience with automated assembly equipment preferred.
