Synopsys is seeking a Principal Program Manager for Enterprise AI Strategy & Governance in Bengaluru, India. Responsibilities
- Lead and scale Synopsys' enterprise AI Governance operating model across GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, third-party AI solutions, and internal AI applications.
- Establish processes for intake, evaluation, approval, monitoring, risk management, and lifecycle oversight of AI technologies.
- Partner with Legal, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Compliance, Procurement, Engineering, Product, IT, and business stakeholders to evaluate AI technologies and use cases.
- Ensure alignment across risk, regulatory compliance, IP protection, privacy, and security requirements.
- Operationalize governance frameworks including NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO/IEC 42001, and Responsible AI principles.
- Define governance patterns for Agentic AI systems, including access controls, monitoring, auditability, and lifecycle management.
- Drive AI Academy initiatives in partnership with People and business leaders to build AI literacy, responsible AI awareness, and role-specific AI skills.
- Develop governance metrics, executive dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to drive transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support strategic AI ecosystem partnerships, platform evaluations, and technology provider assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 12+ years of experience leading complex enterprise-scale technical programs within software, semiconductor, cloud, AI, or high-tech environments.
- Experience building or operating AI Governance, Responsible AI, technology risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, AI platforms, and AI adoption challenges within large organizations.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews involving Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with portfolio management and workflow tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Confluence etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with governance and risk frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and emerging AI regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Experience driving enterprise adoption, change management, workforce enablement, or AI upskilling initiatives is a plus.
