Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the software platform portfolio for Upstream Defect Elimination (UDE).
- Own product vision and lead a team of product managers as a player-coach.
- Manage the development lifecycle of UDE platform portfolio spanning defect tracking, reporting, identification, and extrapolation.
- Own the tool which uses AI for defect identification and extrapolation.
- Lead efforts on simplifying underlying data architectures.
- Lead impact assessment capabilities.
- Push thought leadership via 3YP and Annual plans.
- Define strategy and invent net-new mechanisms.
- Remove org-level blockers and ensure teams track to committed timelines.
- Define deep product feature requirements and develop a road map.
- Align with stakeholders and collaborate with partner teams.
- Ensure successful, on-time launch of products.
- Manage complex business processes at scale.
- Drive end-to-end high impact and high visibility programs.
- Communicate and have executive presence in a fast-paced environment.
- Define, develop, and use metrics to drive vision and manage the business.
- Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive insights.
- Lead at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Set AI/ML product strategy, prioritize capabilities, and make build-vs-buy calls.
- Liaise with tech, product, ops, and category teams.
- Work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Influence VP/SVP/S-Team decisions and set product direction org-wide.
- Serve as a role model for Amazon's Leadership Principles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end to end product delivery.
- Experience as a product manager or owner.
- Communication and executive presence with an ability to deal with a fast-paced environment.
