Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading physical design of critical blocks on testchip.
  • Responsible for delivering digital sensor IP to leading SOC from mobile and compute domains.
  • Requires physical design, custom layout, and automation skills.
  • Will require cross function/site collaboration and managing/mentoring a team of PD engineers.

Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech OR equivalent with minimum 7 years of industry experience.
  • Experience with PNR, STA and physical verification on advanced technology nodes.
  • Good understanding of Physical design fundamentals and custom circuit design.
  • Understanding of SPICE simulation with industry-standard simulators.
  • Hands-on experience of EDA industry standard tools such as Innovus, primetime, Calibre, Redhawk, Virtuoso.
  • Basic knowledge of Formal Verification, CLP/LEC verifications at block level.
  • Expertise in one or more scripting/programming languages like TCL/Python/Perl/SKILL.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
