Ericsson is seeking a master's-level student for a People Specialist Intern position in Plano, Texas. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle support, and People Business Partnering within a global organization. The role focuses on developing HR foundations and enhancing the employee experience.

Responsibilities

Support key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, data updates, workforce transitions, and offboarding.
Assist with HR systems, reporting, and people data requests for accurate records and insights.
Help support People programs, compliance activities, and recurring team processes.
Collaborate with People Business Partners and Specialists on employee questions and manager support.
Utilize AI-enabled tools (like Copilot) to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Gain exposure to organizational change, workforce planning, and the People Business Partner role.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in human resources, business, industrial-organizational psychology, organizational development, communications, data analytics, or a related field.
Strong interest in HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, workforce transitions, People Business Partnering, and employee experience.
Excellent communication, judgment, discretion, and follow-through.
Analytical mindset with the ability to review data, identify themes, and support reporting needs.
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools responsibly and practically.
Curiosity, initiative, collaboration, and a desire to develop as part of a team.
2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks.
Actively enrolled in an accredited Masters on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with HR systems, Power BI, or data reporting tools is a plus.
Potential to extend into the school year with a flexible schedule.
