We are looking for a People Analytics Specialist in Austin, Texas to join Synopsys. This role involves supporting and configuring our people analytics platform, ensuring data integrity, and creating reports to inform HR leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support administration and configuration of Visier, including metrics, dimensions, data pipelines, and security.
- Validate and troubleshoot data quality issues within the people analytics environment.
- Serve as the first point of contact for team requests and tickets, triaging, resolving, or escalating them.
- Own and maintain recurring reports and Power BI dashboards for workforce planning and headcount data.
- Collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple HR systems for analysis, dashboards, and reporting.
- Design and develop dynamic dashboards and reports to clearly communicate findings to HR leadership.
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and data governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in HR, Analytics, or a related field.
- Solid analytical skills and a genuine interest in working with data to solve problems.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL; exposure to R or Python is a plus.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Visier, or Tableau.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, ATS) or interest in workforce/people data is a plus.
