Responsibilities
- Provide IPR support for R&D operations, working closely with inventors and technical experts.
- Manage a patent docket, including evaluating inventions and making filing recommendations.
- Draft and prosecute patent applications.
- Contribute to licensing and litigation projects, such as patent mining and claim chart generation.
- Engage in patent portfolio management, oppositions, and nullity actions.
- Participate in working groups to improve operations and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Excellent university degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Interest in and understanding of telecommunication technologies, cellular standards, networks, cloud, or software.
- German or European Patent Attorney qualification, partial qualification, or ongoing preparation is highly welcome.
- Strong commitment to using modern digital tools, including AI-based tools, across patent work.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, accuracy, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent analytical skills, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented working style.
- Very good language skills in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an inventor, in standardization, or in technical project work is an advantage.
- Professional experience in patent drafting, prosecution, portfolio management, oppositions, litigation support, or licensing-related patent work is an advantage.
- German language skills are a plus.
