As a Network Implementation Engineer at Google in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to build a reliable, cost-effective, and scalable global network. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience in core networking protocols.

Responsibilities

Build and operate Google's network reliably and at scale.
Execute deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide.
Develop creative approaches and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep operational costs low.
Monitor the network and repair issues while anticipating needs and escalating issues.
Own network documentation, update and maintain network designs and plans.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in core networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), and LAN switching.
Experience with MPLS VPN, firewalls, data center networking, and virtual extensible LAN (VXLAN).

Desired Qualifications

Certifications in CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, or Google's Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification.
Understanding of Linux/Unix fundamentals, including system resource monitoring and shell scripting.
Excellent coding skills to develop automation solutions for network monitoring and management.
