Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain and automat network solutions within IP infrastructure environments.
Translate high-level and low-level designs into robust implementation plans and technical configurations.
Develop and maintain network automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and modern API-driven technologies.
Build, configure, and maintain lab environments for testing, validation, and proof-of-concept activities.
Execute network changes in compliance with change management and operational excellence practices.
Analyze network performance, conduct capacity planning, and identify opportunities for optimization.
Support deployment and operations teams with advanced technical expertise and troubleshooting.
Lead technical discussions with customers and provide guidance on architecture, automation strategies, and technology choices.
Develop technical documentation, solution designs, presentations, and customer proposals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Relevant Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCDP, DevNet, or equivalent) or willingness to obtain them.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IP networking, infrastructure engineering, or network automation.
Proven experience developing automation solutions using Python and Ansible.
Experience working with automation frameworks, APIs, and modern DevOps methodologies.
Strong hands-on experience with network design, implementation, migration, and operational support.
Experience working in complex Service Provider, Enterprise, or Data Center environments.
Strong analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach to solving complex problems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English.

Desired Qualifications

Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage.
