Responsibilities
- Undertake all electrical work as required.
- Undertake mechanical (multi-skilling) work as defined.
- Participate in departmental and site safety initiatives.
- Liaise with the Shift Production Leader on production priorities.
- Comply with all Standard Working Practices (SWP’s) and permits to work where appropriate.
- Monitor the Engineering Requests system and carry out appropriate tasks.
- Carry out plant checks as defined.
- Work planned maintenance shutdowns when necessary.
- Participation in the Engineering call out system.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experienced electrical engineering.
- Hold an electrical trade apprenticeship with minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
Desired Qualifications
- An understanding of control instrumentation.
- Three phase electrical systems knowledge.
- Experience of metal or metal powder processing equipment.
- COMPEX certification.
- Good level of IT literacy.
