Responsibilities
- Conduct a literature study on the acoustic profile of the system
- CFD modelling of the system and simulations
- Hydrodynamic noise and cavitation analysis during operation
- Compare different blade designs and propose blade design recommendations
Requirements
- Master of Science student in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field
- Fluid mechanics experience
- CFD expertise
- Signal processing competence
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, OpenFOAM, or similar are beneficial
- Additional experience that is beneficial but not required: Marine propulsion, cavitation modelling, advanced skills in CFD meshing
