What You’ll Be Doing:
- Contributing to the development and optimization of high-performance ICs/3DICs/HBMs, microelectronic systems
- Work on new simulation methodologies, troubleshoot and benchmarks, and update industry best practices
- Create technical content around the area of semiconductor, manufacturing and structural integrity
- Perform a literature search to locate relevant publications using Synopsys S&A solutions or competitive products, as well as experimental data
- Explore AI/ML techniques applicable to this field to improve fidelity, turnaround time, etc.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, or a related field
- Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics and materials behavior
- Basic experience with finite element analysis and numerical modeling
- Experience with Ansys Mechanical, LS Dyna, or similar simulation tools (preferred)
- Proficiency in Python and strong technical writing skills, basic familiarity with AI/ML techniques (preferred)
- Passion for technology, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
