This full-time Machine Operator Team Lead role on the 2nd shift is based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The position involves coordinating daily team activities, monitoring processes, and ensuring quality and safety, without holding a managerial title.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the daily work of the team/shift.
  • Monitor processes and performance in the team/shift.
  • Act as a liaison between the team, support functions, and TM.
  • Develop and maintain good knowledge of key processes and tools within the cell.
  • Close competence gaps by training/coaching and conducting SOP audit dialogues.
  • Control quality, deviations, and line stops in conjunction with TM.
  • Focus on waste elimination and improvements.
  • Drive meetings within the cell (shift handover, cell meeting).
  • Conduct daily work as a team member.
  • Create and follow up on a detailed plan for the cell.
  • Support team members with immediate problem-solving when needed.
  • Prioritize safety, adhere to company safety policies and procedures, and promote safe practices.
  • Conduct oneself with professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation.
  • Ensure full compliance with Alfa Laval policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred with relevant experience.
  • 1 year of experience from Alfa Laval production/manufacturing/distribution.
  • Training skills.
  • Office computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of SOPs and processes within the team.
  • Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints.
  • Forklift operation certification preferred.
  • Overhead crane experience preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Ability to motivate people.
  • High integrity.

Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in production/manufacturing/distribution.
  • Experience with Alfa Laval is a plus.
